Addiction to illegal drugs and alcohol are two common vices in the Philippines aside from cigarettes. I know a lot of people close to me who are having problems on how  they can quit using drugs or being alcoholic. So how can we help them regain new life and quit these vices?

The most common way to quit using drugs is thru the way of sending your love ones to a rehabilitation center and let them stay there for atleast 6 months or so. But for me, based on my experience, sending them to a place where they would be confined for months can cause some negative effect, one of it is that they would be doing the same vices again when they back to the real world. So is it really the best way to send them to a drug rehab center?

Then I found out of a new way to self rehabilitation using the so called Matrix model. For me this is a lot more better than just sending them to a rehab center and doing it forcefully or much simply said against their will. This practice makes the person who has addiction problems realize for himself that he can move on with his/her life and turn their backs to their vices and live a life away from it thru the help of their family and friends but not being confined to a rehabilitation center.
